Fabrimar is bound to stone since 1965. However, this tie created along the years is not limited to the supply of tools and machines destined to stone processing only. In fact, as historical as the very establishment of Fabrimar is its activity of quarrying and trading blocks of marble and granite.Presently Fabrimar quarries three types of marble, in provenance from two quarries located at the core of Portuguese pink marble, the region of Borba/Vila Viçosa.
These three marble types, internationally acknowledged for their beauty and wide range of applications, are "Rosa Mouro", "Rosa Aurora" and "Rosa Borba".
